Aggregated stock research, market news and real trade reporting

Ocufolio puts two things most investing sites keep apart into one feed: research written by people who have to stand behind it, and the trades those same people actually reported. Reading is free and needs no account.

Stock research with a scored track record

Every article published here has to name at least one stock and call its direction — up, down or cruise (roughly flat) — over a time frame the author picks, from a week to a year. Once that deadline passes the call is settled against the market and frozen. Nobody grades their own homework: the score is computed from prices, and published articles can never be edited after the fact.

Each author carries a stock researcher score — the share of their calls that held up — on their profile, next to a count of how many published articles they have deleted, so a bad run can't quietly disappear.

Portfolios you can actually look at

Members report their holdings by hand or by linking a brokerage, and any visitor can open a profile and see the positions, the individual reported trades, and how the portfolio has moved over the day, the week, the month and the year, priced live. Every trade shows how it was reported, so you can tell a manual entry from a brokerage-sourced one.

General market news

Headlines from open finance sources are pulled in daily and interleaved with the research, capped so no single outlet takes over the feed. News items link straight to the original story on the publisher's own site.

Common questions

Does Ocufolio cost anything?
No. Reading articles, profiles and portfolios is free and works without an account; publishing and reporting trades need a free account.
Do I need to give an email address to sign up?
No — a username and password are enough. An email is optional and only there for password recovery and two-factor authentication. Create an account.
Is any of this financial advice?
No. Everything here is a member's own opinion or a third party's reporting. See the terms and conditions before acting on anything you read.
How risk-averse an investor am I?
Try the free risk aversion calculator — a short quiz that scores your appetite for risk. Nothing is stored.
